Beginner Yoga I
Learn fundamental postures as well as the importance of working with the breath and relaxation in this excellent introduction toVinyasa Flow yoga. Vinyasa Flow focuses on moving with the breath and building strength and flexibility over time. Lots of attention to detail and hands-on assisting will help students find ease and comfort in their practice. Beginner Yoga II
A great way to continue learning and practicing after Beginner I. In this 8-week course students progress deeper in safe and guided way into back-bends, hip opening postures and inversions. Chakra Flow Yoga
This class is a great start for everyone. This class is designed for the person who has heard about all the great benefits of yoga, maybe even been told by a health professional they should do it, but feels unsure if they are flexible or fit enough to participate. Flow yoga is perfect for anyone looking to yoga as a means of getting back into, or starting a fitness plan from scratch. This class offers students the opportunity to gain understanding of the basic yoga positions while building strength and increasing overall health. Intro to Yoga
Our Intro to Yoga includes everything you need for a seamless introduction to Yoga. A small class size allows for plenty of individual teacher assistance. This course introduces yoga practice in a slow, safe and comprehensive manner. A smaller class size allows for more individual attention, assists, and questions. These are great classes for those with little or no experience, or students looking to reconnect with the fundamentals. We recommend this option for beginners. Learn to Meditate
Learn to quiet your mind and find stillness, peace and calm. Allow us to help you discover your own personal meditation practice. In this class we will investigate simple but profound meditation techniques to help you live a happier, healthier and a freer life. This six week course is suitable for all. Stroller Fit
Join us in this fitness program for moms involving stroller walking on local trails, resistance training and yoga all taught by a certified Yoga Teacher and Fitness Professional. What you’ll need: A stroller, comfortable attire and shoes, a hat and sun block for you and your baby, and a towel or mat for abdominal work/yoga/pilates. $75 plus HST. Register now
Peaceful Restorative
This class is designed to bring renewal, relaxation and balance. A restorative class is perfect for those times when weak, fatigued or stressed from daily activities. The restorative poses are especially beneficial for the times before, during and after major life events, passings or illness. Restorative poses can be practiced when ill or recovering from illness or injury. Props are used in this class to help support the body during postures creating a feeling of safety in which the body can totally relax. When the body is totally relaxed, profound healing can occur. Yoga for Kids
Kids now have their very own class!! This class offers fun poses, yoga games, breath work and meditations that will empower kids to feel strong, happy and free. Yoga has been shown to aid in cognitive development, cooperative learning and social skills. The class coincides with the all-levels Power Hour class which means you can practice at the same time as your kids! (Ages 4-9)
Yoga for Jocks
Yoga is the key to building endurance, strength and recovering from and avoiding injuries. This course is designed especially for runners, jocks and other athletic types who like to build strength, stamina and learn ways to stay healthy and fit. Yoga and Meditation
What you have been yearning for! Experience a practice for the body and the mind. In the first 60 minutes of this class you will experience gentle flowing Yoga to help you will release tension while gaining ease, flexibility and vitality. In the last 15 minutes you will experience calm for the mind and emotions as we guide you through meditative practice to bring clarity, focus and peace. All levels. Moderate.
Yoga Dance Flow
Yoga Dance Flow incorporates rhythmic dance that flows in and out of yoga pose designed to get your heart rate up, while still being able to enjoy the benefits of traditional yoga poses. In this class you will enjoy free flowing energy, blended dance and yoga postures followed by cooling yoga postures and a well deserved sivasana. Open to all. No dance or yoga experience required.
Yoga for Runners
Yoga has been proven to significantly increase results. Whether it is decreasing marathon times, speeding healing or helping to avoid injuries, yoga is THE essential training practice for runners.
