Reiki is a natural and ancient healing art that transmits energy to stimulate and heal the body, mind and spirit.
Reiki literally means “Life Force Energy”. This life force is present in every human being and by channeling it into the body we bring healing, balance and health. Reiki is simply a means of accessing this energy in a direct and amplified way. Reiki practitioners draw energy from the universal life force all around us and then let it flow through their hands. By laying hands on various parts of the body, they transmit energy to help restore natural flow around the recipient.
Reiki Treatment
During a Reiki treatment, practitioners use specific hand positions that correspond to the physical body, its organs and the seven chakras (centres of energy). Reiki gently balances the chakras and energy field that surrounds the body as well as soothing physical and emotional complaints.
A gentle therapy, Reiki is excellent for:

Our Practioners
Reiki Master: Shasta Townsend has taught yoga and healing techniques including Reiki for nearly a decade. Skeptical at first, she experienced Reiki for the first time while first in south India and was amazed at the relaxed and balanced feeling she achieved after the first treatment. This prompted her to prusue deeper energetic understanding and healing so she could pass the healing energy onto herself and others. Shasta became a Reiki Master under the guidance of Sri Akhilesh, a reknown yogi and Reiki Master of Dharmsala, India. Shasta currently combines the energy healing of Reiki and meditation in many of her yoga classes.

Reiki 1
Reiki is an ancient and powerful healing and body, mind and life balancing tool. It amplifies the natural positive energy, detoxifies and releases impurities and disease and leaves you feeling relaxed yet rejuvenated AND it can be learned by everyone seeking an improved life experience.
Join Reiki Master Shasta to learn the fundamentals of giving and receiving the healing power of Reiki to allow true wellness and health to flow. Attunements, certification and course manual included.

Reiki 2
Deepen your knowledge and power of Reiki! In this training we will learn the art of Distance Healing as we send Reiki through time and space using mantras and symbols. Take your learning and practice to a whole new level of amplification and integrity. Learn to heal the past, the future and others who are many miles away from you. Learn how the quantum field allows healing to take place and how you can be apart of it. Teachings, attunement and manual included in fee. $250

Advanced Reiki Training and Master Certification
This deeply healing two-day course that will teach students with a Level 2 or Level 3 certificate to become compassionate, successful and inspiring Reiki Masters. This course includes both Advanced Reiki Training and Reiki Master Training. The master symbols are included along with Reiki meditation, Reiki psychic surgery, Reiki Healing Attunement and many additional techniques not usually taught by others. The training is intensive and very thorough. It includes lecture, discussion, demonstration and adequate practice time. All issues and questions are dealt with openly in a very helpful and informative way. All attunements are explained, demonstrated and practiced so that each student becomes confident in their use. This is an excellent class for those wanting to be Reiki masters as well as those Reiki Masters who want to deepen their understanding. Course includes a manual and certification as a Reiki Master.
