Krista Bromfield – RYT 500, Lead Anatomy Teacher & Lululemon Ambassador 2008/09 & 2011/2012

What and where to do you teach? Ajax – Power Yoga 1-2, Power Hour Yoga, Flow Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Partner Yoga, and Yog-ahh as well I am the anatomy teacher for the Inspiring Spirit Teacher Training Program.

What do like best about teaching? The best part about teaching yoga is the exchange of energy with students and fellow teachers.

What drew you to yoga? As a P.E teacher and fitness instructor I was searching for a practice that actually added energy and vitality to my life instead of taking it away – I found this in yoga…as well as soooo much more!

What is your favorite pose? Right now (it changes constantly) my favorite pose would have to be Virabhadrasana II. I am fascinated by the concept that although we always have one ‘arm’ stretching out into the future, and another reaching back and reminding us of the past, we have the ability to stand strong ‘in the now’ and ‘be present’ if we make it our hearts/minds intention.

What is a challenging pose for you? It might sound silly but Adho Mukha Svanasana (downward dog) will forever be a challenging pose for me! I am constantly working to find it energetically during my practice!

What did you want to be when you grew up? I have always wanted to be a teacher (ok truthfully – a monkey trainer – but teacher came in at a close second!)

If you could have dinner with any 4 people alive or dead who would they be and why? Mahatma Gandhi, Barack Obama, A grandparent I never got the chance to meet and Micheal Jordan. All people that I am curious about or have had an influence on my life – so I would love to spend time with them! (But not at the same dinner party – I would want HOURS of one on one time with every one of them!)

What is your personal mantra for happiness or success? LOKAH SAMASTA SUKHINO BHAVANTU! (“May all be happy, May all be free”)
